JAMES goes exploring!

hey i think its done. not completely happy with it, but im stretching my comfort zone a little. ive been really obsessed with andrew hem’s paintings, delicious colors, and the brushstrokes, it’s so effortless. ahhh so jealous.

i started working on painting. its been a slightly frustrating endeavor because i havent painted in a while. im too used to photoshop.

heres a panel from the comic im working on. i guess its less like a comic, and more like a series of monsters sharing more information than anyone would care to know.

trying to challenge myself by creating something interesting with a limited color palette and centralized composition. that was not as challenging as finding a baby that was bigger than a house to draw from.
