After 7 months of working on it, MOOON is finally done! Here’s a little snippet, while I try to send it to a few festivals.

I have secret frames to show you. I’m almost done with my stop motion short MOOON, and I just wanted to show you some things from it. I’m very excited about it.
‘fleeting dream’
I had bunches o’ fun making this space-baby-god-thing. It’s vaguely about creating universes in your mind, and being in the mind of god.
my latest character model. his name is FISH. here’s the little blurb i wrote for my character design class:
“Ben Fisher AKA “Fish” was born to explore the universe. Ever since his first voyage out, space has been the only place he has felt free. On Earth his top heavy build makes him sluggish and clumsy. In space it helps propel him like a jellyfish beyond the stars.”
i used a photo of ben affleck to texture map his face. so i named him “ben”. buahaha

i haven’t put anything up in a while because I’ve been so busy with midterms and whatnot, but here’s one project I’ve been working on for a while. its roboclaus 5000, specially designed to deliver presents to all the space babies. modeled and textured and lit in maya. this was fun, and we’re already starting our finals!
